Cabinet Box
Segue’s cabinet is constructed with 3/4-inch plywood and natural Maple veneer interiors. The box has mortise and tenon joints and matching wood veneer edgebanding on all front edges. Tops and bottoms are 3/4-inch plywood. Backs are 1/4-inch plywood with 3/4-inch hanging rails. Integral finished ends are available or for a more European style, gabled ends are an option.
Drawers & Rollouts
Drawer boxes are beautifully dovetailed 5/8-inch maple with 1/2-inch bottoms. Upgrade options of Cherry, White Oak, Sapele, and Blum's Legra box are also available. Drawers and rollouts are hand sanded, assembled, sanded again, then finished on all sides for a fine furniture look. All Segue drawers and Rollouts feature Blum Tandem Plus, full extension undermount glides, with the integrated Blumotion™ are standard on Segue drawers. Blumotion™ adapts to different weights and closing forces to give a smooth, silent close every time.
Shelves
Shelves are 3/4-inch plywood with Maple veneer, full depth, and adjustable.
Hinges
Blum concealed hinges with the soft-close feature are attached to the top and bottom of the case and are standard. Reveals are 1/16-inch on sides, 1/8-inch on top and flush at the bottom of the cabinet.
Finish
Hundreds of color and species combinations are standard in the Segue line, including the La Grande series and Montage series. Segue also offer the option to have custom finishes. Several Sheen options are available, including High Gloss.
Species
Standard species include Afrormosia; Alder; Ash; Beech; Red Birch; Butternut; Cherry; Hickory; Sapele; Maple; Rift, Quartered and Plain Sliced Oak in both Red and White varieties, and Walnut. Several Rustic and exotic options are also available
Exotics and Contemporary
Segue offers an extensive library of both natural and engineered exotic veneers, acrylic, melamine and mattes; some limitations do apply.
